Let us see auspicious things through our eyes in the sacrifices. Let us enjoy a life that is beneficial to Gods. Let us praise the Gods with bodies having strong limbs. Let Indra of ancient fame be propitious to us. May the all-knowing Pusha be auspicious to us. Let Garuda, who destroys evils, be favorably disposed towards us. Let Brhaspati grant us welfare. This Shanti (Peace) invocation appears in the Mundaka, Mandukya and Prasna Upanishads. This Peace Chant ends with the prayer for protection from the Tapatrayas (Threefold miseries) Adhyatmika (Body, Mind), Adhi Bhautika (Animals, other living Beings) and Adhi Daivika (Natural calamities like Earthquake, Flood,Tsunami, etc.)

about

Sahil has released his debut album Avataran, now available at music stores all over India. Avataran was suitably released by way of a satsang, performed by Sahil on December 17th, 2002 at Yantra, Prescott Road, Near Cathedral Middle School, Bombay – 400 001.

The album 'Avataran' is Sahil's first and aims at promoting bhajans in a more universal manner. It is hoped that those who would not necessarily be inclined to listen to or buy "bhajan or satsang music" might find this album more to their liking. Most of the songs have been presented in a very contemporary manner allowing people to experience the joy of satsang with a more familiar surrounding. There is a fusion of Indian and Western influences and elements in this album that give a world music appeal to it. “The intent behind Avataran is to make bhajans more available to everyone...from the very young to the very old. Satsangs can be meditative as well as cool and rocking,” says Sahil.

Says RJ Payal, who launched the album, 'Times Music latest New Age Spiritual album - Avataran was launched amidst stupendous response from the crowd both at VT (Mumbai) and Pune -Planet-M's. Sahil the young performer responsible for conceiving this album kept the audience spellbound with his contemporary Bhajan's - ala the modern day Satsang!! The music and crowd participation proved a compelling force for all those skeptical about the album and eventually the entire store participated by singing and dancing with joy!!"
